TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective: 1 January 2024
Welcome to Whitsunday Business Coaching. By engaging our services—whether coaching, website development, or SEO—you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are in place to protect both of us, ensure mutual clarity, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and respect.
Payments & Invoicing
- Coaching and website work is priced as outlined on the services page.
Coaching and consulting sessions must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Website and SEO work require a 50% deposit upfront, with the remaining balance due prior to project handover or site publication.
Invoices are due within 7 days unless otherwise specified. Late payments may result in a pause of service or additional fees.
Cancellation & Rescheduling (Coaching)
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be forfeited or charged in full.
No-shows are non-refundable.
In the event of an emergency, we will do our best to reschedule your session at no extra charge.
Intellectual Property
All content (copy, images, layouts, designs) created by Whitsunday Business Coaching remains our intellectual property until full payment is received. Once paid in full, ownership of the website and written materials is transferred to you.
Website Handover
Websites will not be published or handed over until final payment is received.
SEO optimization, image sourcing, and copywriting are included.
Confidentiality
All client information, business strategies, and shared materials are treated with strict confidentiality. We respect your privacy and business integrity.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for services rendered, including time spent on coaching or digital work. Our time, creative process, and expertise are valuable and non-recoverable.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any loss or damages arising from delays, missed deadlines due to client inaction, or third-party service issues (e.g. domain hosts, email providers, etc.).
Client Responsibility
It is your responsibility to provide accurate, timely information and approvals throughout the project or coaching engagement. Delays in content, feedback, or payment will affect delivery timelines.
Dispute Resolution
Should a dispute arise, both parties agree to first attempt a resolution through written communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, legal remedies may be pursued under Queensland law.
